The World Waits
[ad_1]
The people of the United States have been led
on a path that has proved to be not only destructive
but dangerous. It is dangerous to the citizens of the
United States and to the world. The war has gotten
totally out of hand and so have the threats and demands
of the White House.
The other countries of the world do not need the U.S.
to meddle in their affairs, involve them in conflicts and wars,
and cause chaos, distrust, and fear to be a daily mainstay
as the White House is trying to do in the U.S. The missile
defense system was lauded as saving lives, yet the truth
is that lives will be lost, peace will be demolished and no
concrete good will come from this except that the Bush
admninistration will move forward in their demand of world
power and dominence. Money is the only real bribe that
the U.S. has to offer, because it cannot offer truth, integrity,
and honesty. Money can buy "people" in power or put
people in power but it cannot bring back lives of those lost
in political wars, and it cannot bring back stability and peace
to nations that the U.S. decided to restructure and to make
regime changes.
The American people have been made so many promises
and each has been broken so that morale is at an all time
low and truth and the American dream are just that - a dream -
but it is time to wake up and dreams do not have to come
true.
If the people decide to reclaim the promise of a
government by the people, for the people, and of the people,
then not ony will America find peace but so will the world.
If money has caused devastation then sad to say, it will be
money that will cause the final devastation - a country that
was looked up to and stood proudly but has been brought
to a point where the other world countries, mostly out of
fear, are made to feel "not acceptable" as has been stated
so many times by Washington. Not acceptable is what
is happening on American soil and the sickness of war and
death is spreading around the globe. Once freedom and
friendship pervailed and now fear and terrorism rules. The
fact is that terrorism is not even always
factual, because many times it
has been proven that it was perpetrated and made-up - but
made-up is child"s play - this is for real, it is dangerous, and
it is deadly. The media has been ordered
to boast of the strength of the U.S. and never to show the true
total of the lives lost and those killed for "political" wars
and for "oil consumption."
The American people and the world population must take
a stand - they must realize that world domination is not what
the heavens intended and each country, including the U.S.
can and should live in truth, justice, and decency. When this
is no longer the mode, then what is? Truly, the future of the
world does hinge on the deeds of today - sad to say - the
outlook is not a rainbow but a thunderstorm - and the raindrops
cannot be the lives of the people. When wrong is wrong, it
must be called just that - wrong.
If it is white-washed and
decorated, then so will be the stones marking graves and
the crosses showing the places of final rest. It can be changed
but most importantly, it must be changed. Civilization has
advanced but with each war, governments gone wrong, and
other calamities, civilization has taken steps backwards. The
only ones who are hurt are the people and the only ones who
can change things are the people.
Something to thing about.
